Post Community Credit Union has gone through many changes since its founding. Formerly known as Post Products Credit Union or Post Employees CU, the Credit Union’ s name changed after a merger with Metrocom Area Credit Union, and in August of 2004, Post Metro Credit Union was introduced. In early 2007 another merger opportunity was accepted that would equally benefit both the memberships of Post Metro Credit Union and Battle Creek Postal Credit Union. At that time, the Credit Union’ s new name, Post Community Credit Union, was presented. Today, this name strongly maintains the Credit Union’ s identity and close connection to roots with the Post factory and Metro Area employees. It also better reflects that the Credit Union provides full service financial services to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in their field of membership which includes: Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Eaton, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties.
For more than 75 years, Post Community Credit Union has had the honor and privilege of serving the financial needs of our members and our community. We are proud of our solid tradition of providing members with quality products and service that makes a difference. As always, we are grateful for and give thanks to the local Post Foods factory and employees – the original founders of our Credit Union in Battle Creek, MI. Today, Post Community Credit Union continues to serve people who live, work, worship or attend school in seven Counties in Southwest Michigan from four branch locations in Battle Creek and Portage, Michigan. The Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution providing friendly, competent and competitive financial services, while maintaining financial stability and promoting growth and development through mutual trust.
