Business Basic Checking Accounts

Perfect for home-based or smaller businesses with small to moderate balances and transaction volume.

Minimum Balance Requirement:

  • The minimum balance required to open this account is $100.00.
  • A minimum monthly average balance of $250.00 must be maintained in this account to avoid a maintenance fee. Your account will be subject to a maintenance fee of $10.00 for any statement cycle where the monthly average requirement is not met.

Interest Period and Calculations:

  • For this account type, the dividend period is monthly. For example, the beginning date of the first interest period of the calendar year is January 1st, and the ending date of such interest period is March 31st. All other interest periods follow this same pattern of dates. The interest declaration date is the last day of the interest period.
  • Interest is calculated by the daily balance method which applies a daily periodic rate to the balance in the account each day.
  • Interest will begin to accrue no later than the business day we receive provisional credit for the placement of cash or non-cash items (for example, checks) to your account.
  • Interest will be compounded and credited to your account every month.

Transactions:

  • Transaction fees are charged per transaction (checks, other debits and deposits) that exceed 100 per month. A fee of $0.15 per transaction will be charged.

Interest Rates:

  • The interest rate and annual percentage yield can be changed at any time without notice, and as determined by the Credit Union Board of Directors.

Business Plus Checking Accounts

Ideal for larger businesses with a high level of account activity, larger transactional requirements and greater liquidity needs. If you tend to maintain larger balances on deposit, PCCU’s tiered Business Plus Checking offers the best value for your business needs.

Minimum Balance Requirement:

  • The minimum balance required to open this account is $100.00.
  • A minimum monthly average balance of $2, 000.00 must be maintained in this account to avoid a maintenance fee. Your account will be subject to a maintenance fee of $10.00 for any statement cycle where the monthly average requirement is not met.

  • For this account type, the dividend period is monthly. For example, the beginning date of the first interest period of the calendar year is January 1st, and the ending date of such interest period is March 31st.
