Current Opportunities.

Compliance Officer, Post Community CU, Battle Creek 
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of three to five years compliance experience in a financial institution.

The selected individual will: be responsible for monitoring legislative and regulatory developments that impact the compliance program including examination trends and interpreting, reporting and communicating on regulatory changes affecting the credit union to appropriate personnel; maintain regulatory updates and changes as they affect the credit union’ s compliance risk management programs and practices; assist in state examination teams during the examination process; review member complaints for potential weaknesses or systemic compliance issues; review advertisements, new product materials, social media postings, and website changes for compliance with applicable laws and regulations; assist in ensuring that compliance issues raised in audits and regulatory reviews are appropriately addressed; provide assistance, interpretation, and guidance to business line staff in the development and revision of products, policies, marketing programs, procedures, and forms; provide support and guidance for administrative, operational, and lending compliance efforts, prepare and present periodic reports to the board of directors concerning the credit union’ s current record of compliance; ensure that the compliance training software program is updated as laws and regulations change; and develop and maintain a library of compliance resources. This position requires a bachelor’ s degree in a related field, five years or more financial institution compliance experience, knowledge of laws, regulations and credit union operations and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
