Essential Documentation for Processing a Successful Mortgage Loan
Please bring the following required documentation for processing a Mortgage Loan request with you to your appointment:
Purchase Transaction (including new construction)
- Purchase/building agreement
- Plans and specification (new construction)
- Copy of deed (if building new home on member’ s lot)
- Last Two Pay Stubs and W-2’ s from the last two years
- Driver’ s license
- Complete federal tax returns from the last two years – personal and business (self-employed)
- Current profit/loss and balance sheet (self-employed)
- Evidence of sufficient funds to complete transaction, two most recent months of bank statements, 401K statement, HUD settlement statement from sale of current home
- Other supporting documentation necessary to complete loan application processing
Refinance Transaction
- Copy of deed, title insurance policy or survey
- Last two pay stubs and W-2’ s from the last two years
- Driver’ s license
- Complete federal tax returns from the last two years – personal and business (self-employed)
- Current profit/loss and balance sheet (self-employed)
- Home owner’ s insurance information
- Other supporting documentation necessary to complete loan application processing
- Current Mortgage statement
- Asset information for reserves (i.e. 401k, two most recent months of bank statements, stocks, etc.)
*If property is in trust, a certificate of trust existence copy is required.
